About Debbie
“You don’t take a photograph, you make it.” -
— Ansel Adams
My name is Debbie Iverach and I am lucky to live on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW, Australia. For me photography is about making memories and capturing those memories. My love of the outdoors and passion for photography has allowed me to visit and capture many stunning areas of our great country and beyond. From the serene seascapes of my home town, the rugged rocky outback of Central Australia and the amazing African wildlife my camera and tripod are never far away.
After bringing up two children my husband and I rediscovered our love of adventure on a trip to Western Australia and the wonderful Karijini region - truly a photographers paradise. Since then we have discovered many parts of Australia from Kangaroo Island, Central Australia and the Kimberley region. My heart and soul is very much embedded in outback Australia.
Along with my love of adventure I have always loved photography but it is during the last ten years under the guidance of friend and mentor Ken Duncan that I have been able to truly live my passion.
Celebrations as we finish the 223km Larapinta Trail in the Northern Territory, Australia
On top of the world - The Temple in the Walls of Jerusalem, Tasmania.
My camera of choice is the Nikon Z7. I love mirrorless cameras. The Z7, with its 47megapixels does not compromise on quality but, being lighter in weight allows me to hike with it and its interchangeable lenses anywhere. It is my take anywhere camera. My Z7 has climbed outback mountains with 20kg on my back and traveled the very wet and windy Milford Track.
My images are a collection of my travels and special moments in time in truly beautiful locations. I hope you enjoy!
